U.S. House passes $819 billion stimulus package
What does it mean?
The Stimulus Package is two-year packages suppose to pprovide an immediate relief to the economy crisis.
Who will benefit from the stimulus package?
Companies; the package would allow companies to use their current losses to offset tax on past profits, and file for a refund. Average workers; tax cut for workers and their families, Seniors; bonus to seniors in their Social Security income, relief to Homeowners: hit by the housing crisis, provide aid to states hardest-hit by the housing crisis to avoid a slash in services, and extend and expand Unemployment Insurance.
Will the bailout stimulus package work?
I think it will give boost to the economy whether it will benefit the average American people or not.
